IML red GmbH

The Institute of Microbiology & Laboratory Medicine, department of research education and development (IML red) is a WHO Supranational Reference Laboratory of Tuberculosis and an independent research organization with the goal to increase knowledge and awareness regarding mycobacterial diseases in humans.

In addition to research, IMLred experts manage several international collaborative projects. They provide technical assistance and consultation services to national TB programs and the National Reference Laboratories of the countries for which a partnership has been endorsed by WHO.
